100% Genuine Parts

support@drivexautoparts.com

At DriveX Auto Parts, we stand behind the quality of the engines, transmissions, and other used auto parts we supply. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage we may provide on eligible parts, the process for submitting a warranty claim, what is covered, what is excluded, and the customer responsibilities required for a valid claim.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing or installing any part. By purchasing from DriveX Auto Parts, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Warranty Policy in addition to our Terms & Conditions and any order-specific warranty terms communicated at the time of sale.

Warranty Coverage

DriveX Auto Parts may provide limited warranty coverage on eligible parts sold through our website, sales team, or approved ordering channels. Warranty coverage begins on the date of delivery, unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of purchase.

Engines & Transmissions

Eligible engines and transmissions may include a limited warranty period of 3 to 6 months from the date of delivery, depending on the product and the warranty term offered with the sale.

This warranty is intended to cover qualifying defects in the supplied part under normal intended use, subject to the terms, exclusions, and claim requirements outlined in this policy.

Other Eligible Parts

Eligible non-engine and non-transmission parts may include a limited warranty period of up to 3 months from the date of delivery, unless a different warranty term is stated at the time of sale.

Coverage applies only to the specific part sold and only to the extent expressly approved by DriveX Auto Parts.

What This Warranty Covers

If DriveX Auto Parts determines that an eligible part has a valid warranty-covered defect during the applicable warranty period, we may provide a warranty remedy in accordance with this policy.

Defects in Materials or Workmanship

This warranty is generally intended to cover qualifying defects in the supplied part that arise from defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use and proper installation.

Replacement of Approved Defective Parts

If a claim is approved, DriveX Auto Parts may replace the defective part with the same part, a comparable part, or another suitable replacement option at our discretion, subject to availability.

Replacement-Focused Warranty

This is primarily a replacement-based warranty. Unless required by law or expressly approved by DriveX Auto Parts in writing, warranty claims are generally resolved through replacement, substitute part, or another limited remedy approved by us, rather than by refund.

Possible Shipping Support for Approved Replacements

Where approved by DriveX Auto Parts, replacement parts may be shipped without additional shipping charges to the customer for the replacement item itself. However, DriveX Auto Parts reserves the right to determine shipping arrangements, freight method, and any conditions tied to replacement delivery.

Core Return Requirement for Certain Major Components

For certain warranty claims involving engines, transmissions, or other major components, DriveX Auto Parts may require return of the original or defective core / part for inspection before a replacement is issued or finalized.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty is limited and does not cover every type of issue, damage, or loss related to a part. Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated in writing, this warranty does not cover the following:

Improper Installation or Removal

Damage or failure caused by improper installation, improper removal, incorrect setup, incorrect torque procedures, poor workmanship, failure to follow professional installation standards, or failure to follow manufacturer / installer guidelines is not covered.

Customer-Supplied Compatibility Errors

If the customer provides incorrect or incomplete vehicle information — including year, make, model, VIN, engine type, transmission type, or compatibility details — and that results in a fitment issue, performance issue, or improper part selection, the warranty may be void or denied.

Misuse, Abuse, Racing, Off-Road, or Neglect

This warranty does not cover parts damaged by misuse, abuse, overheating, racing, off-road use, overloading, neglect, reckless operation, or use outside the part’s intended purpose unless expressly approved in writing.

Lack of Maintenance

Damage resulting from failure to perform proper maintenance, including but not limited to failure to replace fluids, filters, seals, gaskets, belts, hoses, sensors, or other supporting service items where required, is not covered.

Accidents or External Damage

Damage caused by accidents, collisions, theft, vandalism, fire, flooding, weather exposure, contamination, impact, transport damage after delivery, or any other external event is not covered under this warranty.

Unauthorized Repairs, Modifications, or Tampering

This warranty does not cover parts that have been modified, disassembled, opened, tuned, altered, welded, tampered with, or repaired without prior authorization from DriveX Auto Parts where such action affects inspection or claim evaluation.

Normal Wear and Tear

Normal wear items and routine wear-related deterioration are not covered unless specifically stated otherwise in writing. Cosmetic wear, age-related wear, and standard wear expected in used parts are not considered warranty defects by themselves.

Labor, Towing, Downtime, or Indirect Costs

This warranty does not cover:

Third-Party Purchases or Unauthorized Resale

This warranty applies only to eligible parts purchased directly from DriveX Auto Parts or through an approved sales channel. It does not apply to parts purchased through unauthorized resellers, third-party marketplaces, or private resale unless expressly approved in writing.

Contact DriveX Auto Parts During the Warranty Period

To begin a claim, contact our team as soon as the issue is discovered and before further use, disassembly, or unauthorized repair of the part. Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.

Provide Supporting Evidence

DriveX Auto Parts may request supporting documentation and evidence to evaluate the claim. This may include:

Inspection & Claim Review

DriveX Auto Parts reserves the right to inspect, test, review, or otherwise evaluate the claimed defective part before approving a warranty remedy. We may request additional documentation, ask follow-up questions, or require return of the part or core for inspection.

Claim review timing may vary depending on the nature of the issue, the type of part, the completeness of the documentation provided, and whether the part must be physically returned for evaluation.

Replacement Decision

If DriveX Auto Parts determines that the claim is valid and covered under this Warranty Policy, we may provide an approved warranty remedy, which may include:

DriveX Auto Parts reserves the right to determine the appropriate warranty remedy in its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

Core Return Requirement

For certain warranty claims involving engines, transmissions, or other major mechanical components, DriveX Auto Parts may require return of the original or defective component for inspection before a warranty replacement is issued or finalized.

Inspection of Returned Core / Part

The returned component may be inspected to confirm:

Failure to Return a Required Core

If a required core or defective part is not returned when requested, or is returned incomplete, severely damaged by misuse, or in a condition that prevents proper inspection, DriveX Auto Parts may deny the claim, delay the claim, or require additional charges where permitted.

Customer Responsibilities for Warranty Coverage

To maintain eligibility for warranty consideration, the customer must meet certain responsibilities associated with proper part use, installation, and documentation.

Professional Installation

DriveX Auto Parts strongly recommends that engines, transmissions, and major mechanical components be installed by a qualified automotive professional or certified mechanic. Improper installation may void warranty coverage.

Inspection Before and During Installation

Customers and installers should inspect the part upon delivery and before installation. If there is visible shipping damage, missing components, or a concern with the received item, DriveX Auto Parts should be contacted before installation or further use where possible.

Proper Supporting Maintenance

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all appropriate supporting maintenance and replacement procedures are followed during installation, including replacement of fluids, seals, gaskets, filters, belts, hoses, and other supporting components where required for the specific part and vehicle.

Documentation Retention

Customers should retain:

Failure to provide reasonable supporting documentation may affect claim approval.

Prompt Reporting of Problems

Any suspected defect should be reported to DriveX Auto Parts promptly after discovery and within the applicable warranty period. Continued use of a part after a known issue is discovered may worsen the condition and may affect warranty eligibility.

Limitations of Warranty

This Warranty Policy is subject to the following limitations and restrictions.

Non-Transferable Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing, this warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the part from DriveX Auto Parts and may not be transferred to another person, vehicle owner, installer, reseller, or subsequent buyer.

Part-Only Warranty

This is generally a part-only limited warranty. It does not include reimbursement for labor, towing, rental vehicle costs, diagnostic charges, vehicle downtime, storage fees, or other incidental expenses unless expressly approved in writing by DriveX Auto Parts.

Final Claim Determination

DriveX Auto Parts reserves the right to approve, deny, limit, or condition a warranty claim after review of the claim materials, returned part condition, compatibility information, installation details, and any other facts relevant to the claim.

Availability of Replacement Parts

If a warranty claim is approved, replacement is subject to part availability. If the exact part is not available, DriveX Auto Parts may offer a comparable replacement, store credit, or another limited remedy at its discretion, subject to applicable law.

Used Parts Notice

DriveX Auto Parts specializes in used auto parts and related components. Used parts may show normal signs of prior use, cosmetic wear, or age-related condition differences that do not affect functionality. Cosmetic wear or appearance differences alone do not necessarily constitute a warranty defect.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, customers understand that used parts are not the same as new parts and may vary in finish, appearance, or non-functional cosmetic condition.

No Automatic Refund Under Warranty

This Warranty Policy is intended to provide a limited remedy for approved defects in eligible parts. Unless required by law or expressly approved in writing by DriveX Auto Parts, warranty claims do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

Where a claim is approved, DriveX Auto Parts may choose the appropriate remedy, which may include:

Geographic Scope of Warranty

This Warranty Policy applies only to eligible orders and parts sold by DriveX Auto Parts in approved service areas and only where warranty service is offered by us. If your business wants to restrict warranty coverage to certain locations such as the United States only or U.S. and Canada only, you should customize this section before publishing.

Relationship to Other Policies

This Warranty Policy should be read together with the DriveX Auto Parts Terms & Conditions, order details, invoice terms, and any written warranty terms provided at the time of sale. If there is a conflict between a specific written warranty provided with a particular order and the general wording on this page, DriveX Auto Parts may interpret the applicable warranty based on the order-specific terms, subject to applicable law.

Policy Updates

DriveX Auto Parts reserves the right to update, revise, or modify this Warranty Policy at any time. Any updates will become effective when posted on the website unless otherwise stated.

The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase or as otherwise determined by applicable law may govern a particular claim.
